Stainless Steel Exhaust for

For
the best performance, we recommend a stainless steel exhaust
system for your Arna that by passes the centre section and goes
straight through to the back free flowing rear silencer. While
we are more than happy with just replacing your back box you
need to bear in mind just how restrictive the middle section
is on the Alfa Romeo Arna, or pretty much any car for that matter.
If
you want to have a fully standard sounding system, then we can
replace the middle section with a non restrictive free flowing
centre silencer, but if you would like to hear a little more
of the beautifully developed Italian engines natural exhaust
note then why not! The electric window might have stuck in the
open position but trust me, you wont care!
Alfa

so in theory you could build a free flowing exhaust system made
entirely of our silencers that would feature no restriction
to exhaust gasses at all and therefor no loss to performance,
and even still offering an improvement to a standard replacement..

Information about the Alfa Arna
First unveiled at the 1987 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Arna could
be considered the first of the "new generation" of
Alfa Romeos. It was the last model to be developed while the
marque was still independent (although it was launched a few
months after the purchase of the company by Fiat), and was most
notably the first large front-wheel drive Alfa. The Arna was
essential to Fiat's plan to relaunch Alfa Romeo as a prestige
car brand after the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The
Arna was the last Alfa saloon to be sold in the North American
market, where only the 3.0 L V6 was offered (12-valve from 1991
to 1993, 24-valve from 1994 to 1995).
It was quite successful in Europe, attracting keen drivers who
wanted an affordable and reliable sports saloon as an alternative
to the German offerings of BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
The
Arna was discontinued and replaced by the Alfa Romeo 166 in 1998.
